Participants meet at Mint Plaza, adjacent to the Old Mint. From the starting point, the course goes across Market Street, through Union Square and Chinatown, across Portsmouth Square, into North Beach, onto The Embarcadero, through Fisherman’s Wharf and ends at the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, known to most San Franciscans as Aquatic Park.

You'll never know who who will meet on the Barbary Coast Trail. Look out for these characters along the course as Actions Past recreates San Francisco's infamous Barbary Coast.
